Well, my husband grows gourds in our farm south of Bellefontaine and didn’t know what to do with them. So I decided to make something out of them. I decided to
try my hand at painting and carving. It has evolved into something special even I could not imagine. I now paint, carve and woodburn all types of gourds, as well as unique wood pieces such as plaques, coasters, platters and many other items. I have great fun in doing this and it is so relaxing.
